Philanthropy
Anthony V. Pugliese, III is a long-time philanthropist. Although he doesn’t advertise his generosity, he has contributed to various causes in many ways.
Aside from his new philanthropic project, Artworks for Food (click here for more on Artworks for Food), Anthony has been involved in Big Heart Brigade (click here to read the article), as well as the construction of the Anthony V. Pugliese, V Miracle League Field (named after his special needs grandson) which is a uniquely designed special needs baseball field built specifically for children with developmental and/or physical challenges (click here to read the article).
He is also a long time supporter of Kairos Prison Ministry, which is an organization that provides spiritual support to incarcerated men and women. Kairos is supported by Christian volunteers. Anthony is also responsible for building a swimming pool for David Green in Jupiter Farms, Florida. David was born blind and deaf. Anthony learned that most of David’s enjoyment came from being in a swimming pool. He always got excited when he smelled the chlorine from his swimming trunks his mother brought to him to wear on their long drive to a public pool. So Anthony offered to build a beautiful custom swimming pool and also, donated deck furniture at David’s house so he would always be able to enjoy the thing he loved doing the most; being in a swimming pool.
